benjamin is a son, a brother, an uncle, an author, a filmmaker & a friend. he grew up in boston to a family that’s pretty unique even for a child of divorce... but that’s a story for another time.
benjamin always dug film. he thrills over the espionage, war, crime and political genres. so much so that he studied them at usc’s stark producing program & middlebury college.
benjamin always looked at the world through a subversive lens. his favorite films are often vehicles to shine light on abuses of authority and social justice.

benjamin has written for shows on netflix, amazon & history channel … his work has been developed at 42 and sustainable imagination… in 2021 he was awarded the final draft / new york film academy fellowship In writing for film & television…. his first original feature made the 2018 hit list. the same year he made the young & hungry list… other selections include winning the final draft big break competition, quarter finalist at the academy nicholl competition, as well as winning a scriptapalooza fellowship in 2019. while in grad school, benjamin also won the top student screenplay at the ivy league film festival in 2017.
before benjamin began writing full time, he assisted shawn levy at 21 laps entertainment (stranger things, arrival).
benjamin’s work has also garnered recognition by or awards from sundance screenwriter's lab, the austin film festival, the creative world awards, the beverly hills film festival, the santa barbara film festival, the harvard college film fest & over a dozen more.
